This is why we have come up with #TheRiseChallenge to shine the spotlight on you, our customers, who are doing all you can to rise above this pandemic. You are being innovative, charitable, creative and resourceful and we want to hear your story.

Every week for the next 4 weeks, we will select 10 of the most inspiring stories to share and reward. If your story is selected, you will receive N250,000 Naira from Union Bank to support the work you are doing to RISE above the pandemic.

It is a Union Bank initiative that recognises and rewards customers who are
rising in various ways during these challenging times.

How can I participate?

  1. Take a short video (max 60 sec) or write a note about what you are
    doing to rise in these unprecedented times.
  2. Post it on your Facebook, Instagram or Twitter feed with
    #UnionRiseChallenge. Tag @unionbankng and your friends.

How will the winning entries be determined?

Every week, our judges will select 10 exceptional entries that will win N250,000
each. To qualify, your entry must be sent in on or before Thursday.

Who can participate in this challenge?

Anyone with an active Union Bank account in Nigeria.

How will I know that I have won?

Every Saturday, ten winners will be announced across all our social media
pages. They will also be tagged. Watch out.

Why is Union Bank running this challenge?

To inspire Nigerians to keep rising despite the difficult challenges of the times.

Can I send an entry of what someone else is doing?

Yes, but you’re limited to one entry per week.

Can I send an entry of what someone else is doing?

No. It is a personal call. However, you can let your friends and family know that they can participate.
