2. Who can open a Union kids & Teens account?
Children between 13-18 can open a UnionLegend account
Children between the ages of 0 and 12 can open a UnionInfinity account
3. Who operates the Union Kids & Teens account?
The parent/ guardian. The teenager gets a Utility card which he/she manages
6. How much interest do I get on my savings?
5.63% Per Annum
7. What happens when a child turns 13 and teenager turns 18?
The account is upgraded to a UnionLegend account and a regular savings account. The account details remain the same.
8. Do I need to bring any documents to upgrade the account?
You will need these documents to upgrade to a regular savings account:
- Valid ID card of the child turned adult
- Utility bill
- Updated passport photograph of the adult
9. Can I open a domiciliary account for my kid(s)?
Yes, you can open a domiciliary account for your kids with a minimum balance of $50. You will earn an interest of 1% per annum on the account.
